"Frida Kahlo: POSE" is a focused exhibition organized in five overlapping sections – posing; composing; exposing; queering, and self-fashioning – that examines Kahlo's complex identity as a path-breaking individual and artist. Contemporary art from the Rose permanent collection will be placed in dialogue with Kahlo’s work, pointing to the inspiring legacies and cultural impact of this transgressive artist.
